Synopsis
We get a flashback to Youxi in the hospital. She remembers the description of Wenwen from the posters and draws the birthmark on her cheek to match it. Suifan and the father are called to see her. They check and seem convinced by the birthmark. They are quite mad at her for disappearing, but now they have their long lost daughter back. The parents discuss whether it happened because that thing happened, which is unspecified.
Youxi is getting acclimatized at her new (old?) home and meets Wenzhuo. Suifang is suspicious of her and tries to catch her off guard several times. She shares the room with Wenzhuo and Suifang. Wenzhuo shares that he would sleep in the same room as Xiaoxiu a lot.
Wenwens miraculous return is makes a big media ruckus and the neighbors quickly forget about Wenzhou molesting accusations and he is back to being a hero for rescuing her. As they are having lunch, Cheng Wei comes to bully them again. He leaves a pager for Youxi.
Suifang pretends to be a director of the factory and goes to see the orphanage with a faked letter of introduction for Xiaoxiu. She asks about Xiaoxiu and whether she ever came back since she left. Later, she sees an old photo of Xiaoxiu and Youxi and recognizes her.
Youxi has more questions from the police about her disappearance. Her "Dad" is in the room with her. Since she is said to have escaped a human trafficking gang, the police wants details. She gets caught lying several times and the police grow distrustful. As she gets stressed she runs out to throw up.
Youxi learns to drive a bike and seems to be having a great time. Later, Wenzhou performs a weird ritual with a gold necklace on her. It seems to be Suifangs jewelry he stole.
Youxi gets paged by Wei and goes to contact him outside. Suifang is ominously following her but is stopped by a neighbor. Youxi tells Wei that since Wenzhou stole Suifangs necklace, she might have had real suspicion about Xiaoxiu for stealing their things, so it was not meaningless bullying. She also vouches for Wenzhou because they shared a room and he is innocent. Youxi seem to be siding with the Li family more now. Wei is still suspicious and quite a reckless dipshit. Youxi does trust him, and leaves all the letters from Xiaoxiu with him that she hid before.
Suifang is observing both them. Jesus.
At home, the director Guo wants to hold a grand dinner announcing the return of Wenwen. Since Suifang knows she is not her daughter, she is a bit hesitant but plays along.
Suifang shows her all relatives so she can pretend to recognize them. At the party sh is introduced to uncle wang, who seems to have the same watch as Xiaoxiu.
